We start by excavating so that fibre-optic cables can be installed approximately one metre below the ground. Therefore, we will turn up with excavators and may also need to remove tiles and asphalt to gain access.

We visit you
We visit you
When we are ready to insert fibre into your property, we will contact you via text and e-mail, to let you know when we will come by.
Next, a technician will visit you, to see where we can insert the fibre into your property, through the wall. Typically, this will be the side of the building closest to the street. The technician will then install a fibre plug on the wall inside your property, and an external fibre box on the side of the building before connecting the two by a cable through the wall.
Please make sure to clear any obstructions so that the technician can carry out their work unhindered. An adult must be present when the technician drops by.
If you live in an apartment block, we will still visit you to install a fibre plug inside your apartment. During the installation, the technician will insert the fibre through the wall facing the stairway, which in turn will be connected to a fibre box placed in either the basement or the attic, after conferring with the owner or administrator of the building.
You can read more about the fibre installation agreement in your order confirmation.
We lay down fibre in your area
We lay down fibre in your area
We dig a shallow trench in the street and place the fibre cables leading into the property. You may therefore encounter our diggers and staff on the street. We will temporarily remove pavement tiles and break up tarmac to lay down the fibre.
In some instances, we will not complete the work all at once, but instead create a temporary reconnection. This is because, we sometimes have to carry out the installations to addresses on your street, over several visits. With a temporary reconnection we avoid having to remove tiles and break up the road more than once. We will of course always, return to complete the work.
Sometimes we will carry out digging before visiting.
We complete the physical installation at your address
We complete the physical installation at your address
We finish digging on your street and leading into your property. This can take place over several rounds, but you do not have to be at home when we carry out the work. If you are not at home, we kindly ask you to make sure we have unhindered access from the street leading into your property.
Sometimes you may find that we create a temporary reconnection at your property, which we will return to complete as quickly as possible. When we have laid down the fibre at your property, we leave a small tube sticking out of the ground next to your house. We then connect the fibre to the external fibre box and tidy up after ourselves.
If you live in an apartment block, we pull the fibre into the stairwell and connect to your fibre plug. You do not have to be at home.
We will let you know, when we have completed the technical installation at your address.
We complete the work
We complete the work
Once we have completed the physical fiber installation at your address, we will connect the fiber to our exchanges and start re-establishing the area.
We lay new asphalt as the very end, so we avoid breaking it up several times. Eventually, all our equipment and our machines are removed.
We will let you know, when you can start using your fibre connection.
